I’m Stella. I’m an artist born and based in the UK, inspired by street culture, graffiti and sneakers. As someone who has struggled with self-expression, street art has always inspired me. I have always loved the way that the medium can transform a building into the most beautiful and passionate gallery. Graffiti exemplifies the freedom of expression more than any other medium I have ever encountered.

Starting my career as a self-taught portraiture artist, I began experimenting with sneakers during my first year of A-levels in the 2020 coronavirus lockdown. Since then, my art has evolved and become more heavily influenced by colour and street culture. I describe my signature style as creating 'Sneaker Dioramas'. I love to integrate captivating scenes and bring the shoes to life with each one telling a different story. They often feature references to graffiti and Hip Hop or Pop Culture. I enjoy the challenge of working with different silhouettes but tend to prefer high top sneakers for my diorama pieces. Every diorama is a mash up for my love for sneakers and miniature scenes that I have been inspired by .While I work on many different canvases, sneakers will always have my heart. My pieces aim to push the boundaries of what sneakers are. They become more than just shoes; they take on their own meaning and become conversation pieces.
