Oxford Street Store

Oxford Street Store

In the coming months, CANVVS will open its doors, marking a significant step in the multi-million-pound campaign to rejuvenate Oxford Street.

We at CANVVS are excited to announce that our custom sneaker brand, proudly worn by the England squad during the 2022 World Cup, will be among the first rent-free shops to open on Oxford Street. This opportunity is part of a groundbreaking project by Westminster City Council aimed at revitalising this iconic shopping destination.

This three-year campaign by Westminster City Council has received nearly 1000 applications from forward-thinking businesses since its announcement last year. Now, we are proud to be among the first wave of diverse and exciting brands set to launch on Europe’s busiest shopping street.

Our store will be located at 373 Oxford Street. Here, CANVVS will offer a unique sneaker customisation platform, empowering talented artists to transform and personalise footwear. Our distinctive sneakers, which caught the eye of Gareth Southgate, Harry Kane, and Phil Foden, will now be accessible to everyone.

Founder Alex Murray expressed his enthusiasm:

“We are thrilled to have this opportunity to open our first store in the heart of Oxford Street. Our mission is to empower sneaker creators, and being center stage in such an iconic location will help us uplift a huge range of new talent. We will be showcasing and supporting a community of local creators who have been underserved, underrepresented, and largely undiscovered.

CANVVS is changing this dynamic and shining a light on this fast-growing group of entrepreneurial and deserving individuals. We are so grateful to Westminster City Council and Places for London for their support in setting up our business in this prime location. It’s an incredible opportunity to bring wearable art and unexpected experiences into the spotlight, and we can’t wait to start trading.”
